School House
Restoration Project
This 1920's era one room African American school house was given to Three Rivers Museum in December of 2012. It is currently located on private property south of Okay, Oklahoma near the Marshall Cemetery and the Oak Grove Church.
Museum staff are conducting reserach into the history of the school and plans are being coordinated to move the school to museum property so that it can be restored, preserved, and used as an educational medium for area students.
If you have any information on this school or know someone who was a student there, please give us a call (918-686-6624) or email (3riversmuseum@sbcglobal.net) or use the form below to send a comment.
